Breezon kennels actually started back in the 70's when for 15 years I bred shetland sheepdogs, and dalmatians. I competed in CKC sanctioned shows and received many championships on my shelties, I also handled for some American breeders and finished their shelties as well. I also competed in obedience and received many high in trials and received the hub city trainers award. I have worked as a veterinarian assistant, trained dogs for the hearing impaired and deaf, worked/managed boarding kennels, and an animal shelter.
It was in 1993, I was introduced to the chinese shar pei. It was love at first sight, I purchased my first pei Crease that same year. She was my constant companion and a great ambassador for the breed. Without any formal training she visited the Parkridge Centre. She loved what she did the residents loved her. Although we didn't have a long time together we lived a lifetime. She is the reason I'm now breeding shar pei, and not breeding the sheltie which I thought was the only breed for me.
Shar Pei are loving, easy to housetrain, very protective of their people. I've not met any animal more human like. As the saying goes owning shar pei is like eating potato chips one isn't enough.
